Survey of coast of Sri Lanka between Katunayake and Weligama showing tracks of surveying vessel(s). Positions dated in February and October/November. Relief shown by hill shading and depths by soundings. Probably compiled by Commander Daniel Ross during his surveys of the Burma region in various vessels 1825 to 1828. May have been drafted by Lieut. J.S. Roe in H.M.S. Tamar during service in the Burmese War 1825-1827.
